Overall from what I tested most general hurt comes from 3d trees (more than enb). After that probably general retexture and remodel. Also with the 3D trees mod or anything similar + ENB enabled, what is the lowest FPS that you've gotten? The lowest I've got so far was 45Īnd another question, are there any other types of mods that are as demanding as ENB's? Does anything come close or is the gap pretty big? City overhauls hurt fps the most (either that or ones that increase npc count too much). I don't mind the frame drops thaaat much, but I'll probably find an alternative for the trees. Another thing to note is probably to ignore my enb setting suggestion. Originally posted by Degeneracy:Actually I may have gained 5 fps by running game and skse as admin? I cant really tell it might have been margin of error or something else.

I also highly doubt any nvidia inspector or Nvidia control panel tweaks will change much. Now on tree mods, they will all butcher performance somewhat with 3d trees being the worst. Which brings for me 66fps to 74/76fps low. Another note is in some scenes ENB Ambient Occlusion has no impact and other times 10 fps) (Oh i missed that Detailed shadow has little to no frame impact. If you really want ENB like i do but can accept lower frames you could make sure only these enb effects are on. (Oh and I would advise not trying oldrim as I did a short experiment with that and got less stability with same performance). This is simply the reality of Skyrim SE performance on this hardware. In this exact spot out side helgen I get 64 fps low with just ENB + alt start and no other plugins, mods skse plugins, etc, etc. This here is a screenshot i just took for you with ZERO MODS except silient horizons enb and alt start mod.

I have been testing around with different grass/tree mods, graphical settings, enb and no enb, texture mods and no textures mods. There is no way to maintain 60 fps or even 55fps when using tree mods, enb and textures. I have almost exactly same specs except a 2700x vs your 2600. Good specs for skyrim se are a i9 9900k and 2080/2080ti.
